Big Hill Beach is located approximately 446km north of Sydney, 74km north of Port Macqarie, 30km east of Kempsey and is near to town of Crescent Head.

Big Hill Beach can be accessed by travelling south from Crescent Head along Point Plomer Road. The beach is south of Goolawah National Park and is part of Goolawah Regional Park and can be accessed opposite Delicate Nobby Camping Ground.ᅠ

There are no designated parking spaces, therefore only off street parking is permitted unless you are camping at thenearby camping sites. The access road is also unsurfaced but is generally sited for 2WD vehicles.

Big Hill Beach is a designated off leash exercise area below the high water mark, however they must remain on a leash if heading towards Delicate Nobby Beach.
